Housing
Housing maps
[dropcap1]H[/dropcap1]ousing affects us all, all of the time. We all live in different times of households. Some of us live alone, others as couples, others with people they are only temporarily sharing accommodation with. The Census even records how many of us are happily married but living alone, our husband or wife living elsewhere! Households can contain more than one family, or no families at all, and several households can share the same dwelling. It can all become quite complex and so our maps here try to simplify. Households tend to me either renting, buying or own the home the live in outright, although shared ownership is increasing in London. The cost of housing is a perennial debate including rents, average housing prices and what property (council) tax band each dwelling falls in.
